The Collection of Education is located in the College of Education (CoED). The Collection comprise of sources of information related to educational studies, curriculum and teacher education. �The Library serves the following subjects: adult education and community development, psychology, special needs, early childhood education, guidance and counselling, administration, policy, planning and management, commerce, information and communication technologies. It also has books on sciences and arts.

Our stakeholders are advised to use Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) through: to locate reading materials available in all seven university library collections.

Reading materials in hard copies are arranged on shelves by using Library of Congress Classification Scheme. In the Library, users can access books, policies, legal information

materials, theses and dissertations. Other materials such as periodicals, rare books, dictionaries, encyclopaedias, directories, maps, atlases, government documents and University publications are kept in a separate location (Special Reserve Collections).

Archive is located in the first floor of the building, and all newspapers are kept in the second floor.

It is advised that, Library stakeholders should not depend on hard copies only; there are huge numbers of electronic information resources which are available and useful to academic, research and consultancy activities.

The Library holds audio-visual materials and also it produces a number of fliers containing web addresses for subscribed and open access databases.

The Library Staff are fully involved in conducting workshops, with the intent to creating awareness on library services and activities including search techniques; evaluating, citing and referencing sources of information for users.
