The Collection of Informatics and Virtual Education is located in the College of Informatics and Virtual Education (CIVE). The building is equipped with modern technological facilities and unlimited internet connections to all library users. In addition, the building contains all ranges of information carriers including: books, periodicals, research journals, newspapers, audiovisuals and research materials. The library also gives access to different electronic databases which allow accessibility to millions of information sources around the world.
The Collection serves subjects related to Informatics and Virtual Education. Temporarily, it serves mines, petroleum engineering, environmental sciences and technology.
The library has newspapers and online scholarly databases that the University management has subscribed to. The subscribed databases include:
- EBSCO Host
- Taylor and Francis Journals
- Wiley Online Library
- Emerald Insight
- Cambridge Core
- IMF eLibrary online and
- Oxford University Press
The University has also subscribed to research for life databases that encompass GOALI, Hinari, ARDI, Oare and AGORA.
